COOKING WITH FRIENDS: A Taste of Thai

Thai food flavors are so vibrant they come alive with each bite. Thai cooking has a balance of the four essential tastes: salty, sour, spicy, and sweet. Take the mystery out of this cuisine and bring the tastes and smells into your own kitchen as we make Tom Kha Kai (Thai Coconut/Chicken Soup), Bahn Mi (considered to be one of the best street foods in the world), Thai Pork Larb with Lettuce Wraps, Peanuts, (a meat-and-herb popular in Thailand) Thai Shrimp Stew with Coconut Milk, Red Peppers and Lime over Jasmine Rice. We will cover knife skills and discuss the ingredients such as Gochujang, fish sauce, coconut milk, sesame oil, etc. You are welcome to bring wine. All supplies included.
