Marcia DePalma, Cooking Instructor and Jody Frimel, Herb Grower, Mill Hollow Nursery Join us for the 19th Cooks Herb Garden. If you have dreamed of growing an herb garden, this class will help to get you started! Marcia, the cook, and Jody, the grower, team up to highlight popular culinary herbs. We will teach you which herbs are most popular in the kitchen, how to plant your herbs, their growing needs and plant maintenance and how to harvest your herbs. You will then learn ways to bring their flavors into your kitchen and your food. Enjoy many recipes in class using herbs we talk about: beverages, appetizers, herb butters, salad, pastas, foccacia, and more (so come hungry). You will receive a 60-page HERB NOTEBOOK filled with history, growing tips and recipes. After class, you can buy directly from Mill Hollow’s herb selection that will be set up at the school (please note: cash or checks only for herbs).
