Cooking Classes

Tuesday , March  21, 2017   6:30 -9:00pm

In our first throwdown of the year we will challenge each other to the classic Beef Stroganoff. This Russian dish has been around for centuries, but it wasn’t until the fifties that it became all the rage in the United States As with many ‘comfort foods’ that your Grandma may have made, there are many versions and approaches to this dish: it can be homey or elegant. What will each cook present to you for judging? Which will you like the best? You will be served one of each and you vote! We will begin with a Hungarian Cheese Spread, Liptauer, with pumpernickel toasts; Sherried Tomato Soup, Salad with shaved marinated vegetables, and the Strogonoff entries. We will finish the night with a light dessert. This is a fun and entertaining class! You are welcome to bring wine
